Brasils is one of the most popular salsa venues in Philadelphia. This is the oldest salsa club in Philly and where a lot of experienced dancers go out to dance. The intermediate level lesson draws out many good dancers, so the level of dancing here is higher than at some other places, but beginners and new people often come here as well. The club is small and cozy and the dim lighting and decor make it a great party atmosphere.
- Always a good amount of dancers.
- Usually a good mix of beginner and experienced dancers as well as regulars and new people.
- Good Music: Mostly salsa, with some bachata and a little cha-cha and merengue occasionally.
- Great ambiance.
- Too many guys sometimes
- Music is very loud – bring ear plugs
